Hybrid work arrangements, the best of both worlds?

Our study in Portugal and Spain showed that on average, people only working from home experienced significantly lower levels of negative work-to-nonwork spillover, compared to people working from the office and people in hybrid work arrangements. Also, on average, people in hybrid work arrangements faced significantly higher levels of work overload and conflicting role expectations compared to people working exclusively from home.
